Where’s the Mana? is a student short film that follows three lifelong surfers in San Diego as they navigate cultural tension, identity, and the fight to protect their sacred waters. The poster design draws on inspiration from 1960s surf films like The Endless Summer, using dreamy visuals and nostalgic layout choices. I served as the graphic designer for the project, developing the poster using images of the cast, thematic color choices, and a custom title design using Lostar Regular. The final print piece captures the film’s laid-back yet mythic tone, hinting at both personal discovery and surf-spirituality.
